# Tiktok Pixel

## Create your Tiktok pixel ID&#x20;

**Step 1:** In your Tiktok account => Tool => Events

**Step 2:** Click Manage on Web Events

**Step 3:** Start to create your pixel&#x20;

**Step 4:** Mark the name for the pixel => Choose method Events API => Click Next

**Step 5:** Choose Manually Set up Events API

**Step 6:** You will see this tab, please ignore it because OneTrack handles this for you. Just simply click on Go to Settings

### **Add your pixel ID in OneTrack**

Just one action, please copy the Tiktok pixel ID you just created, and paste it in OneTrack, that is all :tada:

### Let testing the Tiktok pixel in your website

1. **Install the Tiktok Pixel helper extension**

2. **Let's test it in your website**

The pixel is added in OneTrack already. You need to check in Tiktok pixel helper, if you see the pixel can track View content, Add to cart, Initiate checkout and Complete payment event, so the pixel is working well.

*TikTok is no longer count event with Page view anymore, so please ignore this event*

**View Content:** When a user views a specific product or piece of content, a pixel can be triggered to record this event.&#x20;

**Add to Cart:** When a user adds an item to their shopping cart or basket, a pixel can be triggered to track this action.&#x20;

**Initiate Checkout:** This event is tracked when a user proceeds to the checkout process to complete a purchase. It indicates that the user is in the final stages of making a transaction.&#x20;

**Complete Payment:** When a user successfully completes a purchase, a pixel associated with the tracking system is triggered in thank\_you page.

### Check the data in your Tiktok Event Manager

To see the event sent by OneTrack to your Tiktok, please open tab Overview in your pixel
